title : We Love Marquees! We do, we do, we doo-ooh!
Today, we made our midterm project which is a company website for a non-existent company. We decided to have a make-believe hotel called 'Skyline Hotel' yet we copied most of the content at the Manila Peninsula's website. Is that bad? I mean it's just make believe and it's only done for project purposes. I hope we wouldn't get sued or something. Anywho, we had a lot of fun while making it. While the others are doing the project, the others are there making fun of each other, making the creepy ambience at Alex's condo unit sort of disappear. Finally, we did a project that doesn't make us all look sullen at the end of the day. This time we're positive we'll be able to pass it on time and probably with a decent score. Making a website is just one of the new things we're learning at school. (yeah, you read it right! 4th year computer science students, just starting to learn web design? yes.) All of us are still exploring the wonders of Dreamweaver, Dynamic Drive, animated GIF's and all those stuff. But one of the things me and my friends love the most about webpage making is the 'MARQUEE' (hahaha!) We just adore those fast moving things across the page and we love the dizziness and nausea after a minute of staring at it. Some of my pals are even considering making all the content of their personal sites in motion with the use of Marquees! Hahaha! I'm just kidding. It's just one of the things me and my groupmates are kidding about while we're making the Skyline Hotel site. "Let's put a background music in the site...with marquee!" Faye joked. "It's not a website until there's no marquee in it!". Those wackos. They're even happy when we putted a marquee animation in one of our site's pages cause not only it is in motion, but the thing in motion are our ugly faces! hahaha! Well, not really, we're all adorable, lovable people. Here's the sample: Because of marquees, my prof got a high blood pressure since he mostly checked marquee driven sites on our blog project. Marquees could kill. So we all decided to just dump the marquee filled Skyline Hotel website. We might give our professor a heart attack. *big grin*
