title : summer time!
at last! school is over and summer is here!
after five crazy months of cramming, assignments ang projects...its finally over! yipee! i really thought i'll never get out of Junior year alive. with all those thesis and defense coming up, i really want to curl up and die. that's why i havent been blogging lately because for the past few weeks, me and my group in our SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND DESIGN project are finalizing our documentation and preparing for our defense. i though we will have our defense by next semester, but thankfully, we ended this semester with us done on our system defense...well, our oral defense wasn't that good because all our documents got mixed up and our presentation got jammed making us look unprepared infront of our professor. but at least we got through it and somehow answered her questions. she told us to revise our system a little and some parts of our documentation and that's it! its done! whew! after me rivisng the system as my groupmates took care of the documentation, we're ready to pass the hardbound copy! yahooo! but the madness isnt over yet... two days after our defense in SAD, we had our defense in Fundamental Research. Our research is about Wireless Technology and to be honest...i wasnt really involved with the whole research because the topic bores me... but i did my part on the study like doing some of the chapters and tallying the questionnaires and also revising some of the chapters when the defense was done. but during the defense, im one of those group members who just sat there and wasted my outfit cause i didnt said a thing during the question and answer portion...i think i have a low grade during the defense....and by thursday last week, we submitted our revised reasearch paper.... but that's not all...there's still more... last tuesday, we submitted our project in COBOL. we're asked to do 9 programs just two weeks before the exams. but with all the defense going on, we couldnt even start on doing a single program...that's why we decided to hire a programmer to do our project while we concentrate on more inasane projects. my pocket was drained after paying that hired programmer...what's supposed to be money for my dental needs just went all to him! man! we wasted precious time on editing those programs and money and in the end our professor will tell us that the project has no bearing in our final grade! dammit! but at least...it's over and done...but not yet! there's still one more... yesterday, last day of school, is the submission of our group project in Artificial Intelligence. we're supposed to do a chatbot about filipino desserts...we did that already about two weeks ago but when our professor announced that there's also a documentation to be submitted, we're back to cramming mode... with only a week left on doing that...i decided to take charge because no one would like to take responsibility over the freaking project... i assigned everyone tasks like who's gonna do codings and the documentation while i do all the checking and editing...i did all the editing even though my eyes hurt from all the staring at the PC screen... while my groupmates...they're all so comfortable waiting for me to give them the finished product... one thing that really pissed me off is that some people in our group didnt gave enough idea contribution then he feels he has the right to complain when i told them that he and some of our groupmates are incharge of the printing of the 80+ pages of documentation...the nerve! but thankfully, after 3 hours of preparing the final copies of the documentation (1 master copy, 7 xeroxed copy; all ringbinded, mind you!) we finally sumbitted it to our very, very NICE professor...ehehehe (sadista sya!) he just signed our copies then we're off...the final project is done and has been submitted! wahoooo! i finally passed the toughest part of college! and im proud i got out of it in one piece! now, time to relax and do stuff that i've missed during the making of those projects... but now, i just realized, i have to worry about senior year next... oh man....
