title : new stuff
well, as my last post said, this february is one of the most hectic, sad and crazy month for our family...
hectic because last february 7, my sister came home from California to visit us for a month... im a bit excited knowing she will be home again but a little sacred because my terror sis is back to terrorize my life...ehehehe...but actually, its nice having her back... she became more concerned for me and she became sweeter as a sister...its a little unfomfy though since we're not really like that before...but hopefully things will stay like that...but of course, i need a lot of time to get used to it...i'll surely miss her when she leaves again for the states... another hectic yet sad thing happend on the eve of valentines day...nope, i didnt prepare the whole night for a valentines date. instead of saying happy valentines day to each other, the whole Serapio family grieved on the eve of valentines day because of the death of our beloved grandma Lody. it was so sudden, everybody in our family was a bit shocked. she was taken to the hospital last feb. 12 since she asked us to take her there because she's having a hard time breathing due to her 'manas' caused by her diabetes complication in her kidney. everything was alright since her swelling or 'manas' have ceased the next morning. my mom even texted us that evening that lola was doing good and starting to be her comedienne self again, talking to the other patients in their ward in Ilocano. we felt relieved when she texted us that knowing that lola will be better and be out of the hospital in no time. but by 10:30 pm that night mom texted us again, this time telling us that lola has no heartbeat and was being revieved for the past 10 minutes...my sis, dad and me quickly went to the hospital hoping that we will see lola weak but still alive. but when were nearing veterans memorial hospital, my mom texted saying that my lola is dead. everyone in the car broke out in tears, specially my sis since she have a feeling that last feb 8 will be the last time she will joke around our lola. when we arrived, we saw her being prepared by the attendants, we looked and her and cried, remembering the last time we saw her: weak yet happy. we really love our lola Lody. we took her home and prepared for her funeral. we went home about 6 am monday morning. but even though she's gone already, we're pretty sure she's up there watching over us, praying for us, being our guardian angel. then last sad story is my mom have 'katarata' on her right eye and needs to be immediately removed. the problem is we dont have enough money to pay for the operation. i know that we would be more carefull on spending since we have a lot of stuff to pay for...it's a little sad since of course, i couldnt buy new things for myself for now...but i dont want my mom to go blind so i think a little sacrifice is worth it...i just hope she'll get better after the operation...i love my mom sooo much so i'll try to understand our situation...i'll be a good girl... promise...
