title : Of Friends and Lover...
We've been very busy these past few weeks. Lot's had been up and even pushing through my dentist appointment can not happen. Been working the whole week and on weekends, we either go out. I have been dreading to take a day off work but my boss would go nuts if I suddenly called in sick. I've been sick these past few weeks too. Now I have cough and cold and even at one point had a fever, a painful ear and throat. So yeah, I really need to take a break from work. But yeah, no can do.

These past two weekends had been eventful for me and the husby. Last week, me and my office mates had our long overdue get together, then this weekend, we we're supposed to go at the Van Gogh Alive Experience with Karen and Angela, but the two moms bailed that's why it's just me and the husby having a little date on our monthsary.

So yeah, last November 23rd, me and my office mates finally pushed through with our long overdue get together since most of us are not in the same department anymore because, life. We've been talking about it for weeks already but the actual planning just happened almost a day before the target date since Berna, the one who made the plan and who's assigned to book a place, was unable to find a big enough place to accommodate seven of us, plus our husbands and kids. Luckily, I found a huge house on Airbnb in QC who's willing to accommodate us all for a lesser price than condo units for rent. We quickly booked it and thus, the weekend get together pushed through. Overall, it was a weekend well spent even though it's short. Our husbands bonded, while the girls bonded over Netflix while checking in on their sleeping babies. I'm the only one without a baby though. :( Hopefully next time, I'm bringing my little one with me too. *crosses fingers*

Then just last November 30th, me and the husby went to the Van Gogh Alive Experience at BGC. We're supposed to go with Karen and Angela and JL to the exhibit since we've booked our tickets a month before, but since both their babies needed attending to that day (Karen had no one to take care of her kid while Angela's baby girl is sick), me and the husby went just the two of us. Well, not really, since Karen sold her tickets to a former office mate but we didn't really hangout at the exhibit.

Van Gogh Alive Experience is a really nice way to see Vincent Van Gogh's art. It has music, the art moves and it covers entire walls on end. But unfortunately, the venue can't give justice to the beautiful art being projected. I feel that Php 750 is too steep a price for a pretty small venue like that. The exhibit deserves a bigger venue than that. Plus, it would be also nice if there is someone narrating or giving people a background about Van Gogh and his art before entering the multi sensory experience. Since when we went in, the show was already running as if it's just on loop and they're too lazy to pause it for the next batch of people getting in. But still, it's a nice experience to share with the husband who's not into art. We took photos inside but knowing that most of the people there are just for the gram, we failed big time in having Insta worthy photos because of the crowd. After that, we walked around The Fort Strip and grabbed a bite or two at the food stalls outside.

Well, I guess this is already updated. See you next time when something fun happened.
Bye!
